Ultra-lite Lure rod

Never very easy to display a long rod, here is a recently delivered custom rod for a new client. His brief - 10ft; 2pce; ultra-lite lure rod casting 8 - 15grm lures targeting saltwater bass/mullet. At this length I moved out of lure rods into the fly rod arena and working with Mike Thorson at Batson Enterprises USA, we settled on a fairly fast 10',2pce #7 fly rod from the Revelation range. the alternative being the #8 which was felt to be just too heavy. The build had to be uncluttered and simple with black thread tipped in copper and minor detailing in the cork grips.
